Organizers' Collaborative announced a February 15, 2006 release date for ODB 1.0, a free database program for nonprofits. This is entirely open source software, not based on any commercial products. Previous versions of this user-friendly database are in use at over 350 organizations in the U.S.

Boston, MA, USA, December 22, 2005 -- The nonprofit group Organizers’ Collaborative announced it would release version 1.0 of its flagship open source Organizers Database (ODB) software on February 15, 2006. ODB is a free software program for fundraising designed specifically for smaller organizations.

ODB allows nonprofits to easily track members, prospects and donors. Especially during the holiday season, a usable donor database is critical to an organization, allowing it to generate end-of-year appeals and process a high volume of gifts.
