Kitsap Community Foundation has posted online summaries of grant applications from 71 local nonprofit organizations and invites the public to view and possilby help fund the applications. The application summaries will be available for viewing at www.kitsapfoundation.org through April 7.

Treasury consults on new technology for cheques: HM Treasury has proposed the introduction of ‘cheque imaging’, whereby cheques can be paid in by the recipient taking a picture of the cheque with their smartphone or tablet. The consultation also suggests the electronic processing of cheques at individual bank branches.
