GoodSearch com A Good Search Alternative: "In the spirit of the season, one search engine deserves some special consideration. For every query made through GoodSearch.com, a small donation will be made to (more or less) the charity of your choice.
Potential Grinches need not worry about the quality of search results. Because GoodSearch is powered by Yahoo, Yahoo users will feel right at home. And if you use Google, Ask, or something else, well . . . give this a try, anyway."

This is a great idea. I have recently discovered a new search engine that provides Google-based search results and donates 50% of the revenue to charity. It is at Jikolp.com. You can go to http://www.everydaygivingblog.com/2006/12/do_you_jikolp.html and read my review of this service.
Thanks for your comments. Just a reminder that AFP does not necessarily endorse, support or attest to the accuracy of information posted on those Internet pages but provides this information as a service for further reseearch.
Just found this site...very similar to GoodSearch, only 70% of revenue generated is donated to Cancer charities. They're set up as a web portal, so you can shop, book travel, etc and the commissions from these sales are added to the charity pool, as well as any search revenue. Worth a look...
