Nonprofits plan to pursue more mobile fundraising :: Editor’s Blog at Local Tech Wire: "RALEIGH, N.C. - Nonprofits increasingly are thinking about mobile fundraising and likely will try it soon, but they also are stymied by not knowing how to market or promote their use of the new technology, the Philanthropy Journal reports about a new survey.
Thirty-six percent of nonprofits responding to a survey Kaptivate conducted in February use mobile media or plan to in the next 12 months, and over half expect over the next 24 months to be using mobile technology for donor engagement and fundraising."
