Vodafone Foundation launches 2013 charity hackathon - mobility, smartphones, Vodafone, Hackathons, mobile apps - Development - Techworld: The Vodafone Foundation has launched the 2013 edition of its charity hackathon, App Aid. As with App Aid 2012, teams of developers will partner with charities for the event.
The goal is to build prototype mobile apps to help the charities' work. This year Vodafone's charity arm has partnered with the Pozible crowdfunding service, allowing teams to raise additional money to build the apps. The foundation will match up to $10,000 teams raise through Pozible.
