Cloud Computing No Longer A Fad For Nonprofits - The NonProfit TimesThe NonProfit Times: "Every nonprofit used the cloud for at least two services during 2015, up from 80 percent in 2011, according to a survey conducted by NTEN and Microsoft Philanthropies. The survey was conducted from September through November and included about 200 organizations from across the country.
Broadcast email, staff email and constituent databases have been the most used cloud services over the past three years, according to the survey, with office software such as word processing and project management software becoming increasingly popular over the last year. Document storage, 18.7 percent, project management software, 10.7 percent, and staff email, 10.7 percent, ranked as the most recently added cloud services among those surveyed."
