FayObserver.com - -: "On Friday, Fayetteville State University will become the first college in the region to turn to social networking Web sites to solicit donations.
FSU hopes to attract a younger generation of donors with videos such as one featuring Chancellor James A. Anderson on the university's MySpace and Facebook pages. The video also will post on YouTube and FSU's Web site.
'It's not the size of the contribution that matters,' Anderson says in the video. 'It's the fact that we do it as a family.'"
