Youthful new director of Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council has big background - Roanoke.com: Derick Maggard, the newly announced director of the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council, has had experience as a missionary, entrepreneur, student, athlete and leader.
Maggard, of Blacksburg, is the fourth executive director of the nonprofit association, which is designed to support the growth of technology-based industry in the Roanoke and New River valleys.
